Vendor Terms and Conditions – Izibite.com

Welcome to Izibite.com, a multi-vendor campus food delivery platform operated by Izibite Technologies.
By registering as a vendor and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before completing your registration.
1. Definitions
- “Platform” refers to Izibite.com and any related mobile or web applications.
- “Vendor” means a restaurant, food seller, or merchant who registers to sell on Izibite.
- “Customer” means a user who places food orders on Izibite.
- “Delivery Partner” means any person or rider authorized by Izibite to deliver customer orders.
- “Commission” refers to the percentage Izibite deducts from each successful sale.
2. Vendor Eligibility
To become a vendor on Izibite, you must:
- Operate a registered or verifiable food business on or near a campus area.
- Provide accurate business information, including name, location, and contact details.
- Agree to abide by all food safety and hygiene regulations applicable in Nigeria.
- Be at least 18 years old or represented by someone who is legally able to sign agreements.
3. Store Setup and Management
- Vendors must complete all onboarding steps (store info, menu upload, payment setup) before going live.
- All food items listed must include clear names, prices, and images that reflect the actual product.
- Vendors are responsible for maintaining up-to-date menu items and prices.
- Izibite reserves the right to review, edit, or remove listings that violate platform rules.
4. Order Processing
- Vendors must promptly accept incoming orders and prepare them within the estimated time shown on the dashboard.
- Delays, cancellations, or repeated unresponsiveness may lead to temporary suspension.
- Delivery riders or partners will pick up the order once it is marked “Ready for Pickup.”
5. Commissions and Payments
- Izibite charges a 10% commission on each successful order.
- Vendors receive instant or scheduled payouts (depending on platform setup) for completed deliveries.
- Payment details must be accurate; Izibite is not liable for failed transfers due to incorrect information.
- Refunds or adjustments requested by customers may affect payout amounts.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
- Maintain good food hygiene and quality standards.
- Ensure packaging is clean, safe, and properly sealed.
- Provide professional customer service and respond politely to queries or complaints.
- Avoid listing prohibited, expired, or unsafe food items.
- Comply with all campus regulations and local health laws.
7. Delivery Policy
- Deliveries are managed by Izibite’s registered riders or authorized delivery partners.
- Vendors may not charge customers directly for delivery unless specified by Izibite.
- Vendors must have orders ready for pickup within the agreed timeframe.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Any issues between vendors, customers, or riders should first be reported through the Vendor Support Channel on the dashboard or by email at support@izibite.com.
- Izibite will mediate fairly to resolve disputes.
- Legal matters, if necessary, will be handled under Nigerian law, within Lagos jurisdiction.
9. Account Suspension or Termination
Izibite reserves the right to suspend or terminate a vendor account if:
- The vendor violates any terms in this agreement.
- There are repeated customer complaints about quality or service.
- Fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform is detected.
10. Liability
- Izibite provides the platform “as is” and is not responsible for damages or losses arising from vendor errors, food handling, or delivery delays.
- Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of their food products.
11. Intellectual Property
- All logos, trademarks, and platform content belong to Izibite Technologies.
- Vendors may only use the Izibite name or logo for authorized promotions related to their store.
12. Changes to Terms
Izibite may update these terms periodically. Vendors will be notified of any major changes via email or dashboard notifications.
